2016 is finally here and we have been busy over the winter season preparing the new Lost Kingdom land. An opening date for Lost Kingdom at Paultons Park has also been confirmed as 17th May 2016.

This month we have even more behind the scenes construction photos for you to see. Final testing on the new boomerang coaster, Velociraptor will be taking place at the end of this month. Since our last update, many unique plants and trees have appeared in this area.

Some brilliant rockwork has been added around the Flight of the Pterosaur which can be seen in the photo below.

The Little Explorers’ Play Park is developing well with lots of fun features including interactive footprints and climbing frames to keep the little ones entertained - Dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes have been moving in all over the site.

Work surrounding Boulder Dash is pretty much complete, the ride is now operating, has been fully tested and has been covered over for now.

This month the theming of Lost Kingdom is coming to life with the arrival of just under 30 life like moving dinosaurs.

Above, is a photograph of the winding track and planting which is now taking shape at "The Dinosaur Tour Co". Some of the topiary is currently under special fleece blankets to protect it from the winter weather conditions.

Above, an abandoned plane from the "Dinosaur Tour Co". How did it end up here? All will be revealed soon.
Triceratops.jpg

Above, the adult Triceratops can be seen situated inside Dino Chase. Listen out for grumbles and roars as she protects her babies. The coaster track is currently protected with special wrapping until ride testing begins later next month.
Tyrannosaurus_rex.jpg

The magnificent Tyrannosaurus rex is over 14 feet high. You will have to brave his fiercesome roar to ride the Flight of the Pterosaur.

Above is the latest photograph of the amazing main entrance to Lost Kingdom complete with the prehistoric new rock pool outside.

Was ein Endergebnis!
