Naja, die Formulierung mit dem Trauerspiel war vielleicht etwas unglücklich, trotzdem ist das kein Grund hier gleich wieder so unnötige Kommentare zu schreiben...
Es hilft manchmal auch einfach so Behauptungen mit Fakten zu belegen, schauen wir uns doch einfach mal die Neuheiten/Umbauten aller Cedar Fair Parks der letzten 10 Jahre an (Flatrides mal außen vor gelassen, aber auch da sieht es ähnlich aus).

Wenn man das jetzt in Relation mit den jährlichen Besuchern setzt, sieht man doch recht deutlich, dass die bekannten/großen Parks (ich nenne jetzt mal nur Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds, Cedar Point & Kings Island) mehr neue Bahnen erhalten, was ja auch irgendwie logisch ist. Natürlich ist es schade für die Fans, dass nicht alle Parks gleich schnell wachsen, aber da kann man die Entscheidungen von Cedar Fair schon verstehen, neue Bahnen müssen sich ja in einem bestimmten Zeitraum rechnen und wenn ein Park schon viele Bahnen besitzt, muss man auch wirtschaftlich handeln. Die Wartungs- und Betriebskosten sind ja nicht unerheblich (auch wenn ich das nicht mit Zahlen belegen kann). Man sieht aber schon deutlich, dass da ein paar Parks dabei sind, die sich wohl gerade so rentieren, man aber nicht wirklich gewillt ist viel zu investieren. Dass man das Flagschiff Cedar Point immer weiter aufrüstet liegt auch einfach daran, dass man dort das angeschlossene Resort immer mehr erweitert! Die letzten Jahre haben gezeigt, dass es finanziell den Parks am besten geht, die auch ein erfolreiches Gesamtresort mit Hotels, Freizeitmöglichkeiten & Wasserparks bieten können..
Cedar Fair kann man wenigstens zu Gute halten, dass da nicht so viel verschoben wird/wurde wie früher bei Six Flags (wobei natürlich auch Bahnen umgesetzt wurden, vor allem nach der Schließung von Geauga Lake)
Ich habe jetzt übrigens nicht mit einbezogen seit wann Cedar Fair welcher Park gehört, auch das spielt nämlich eine Rolle...
Um noch auf die Neuheiten zurück zu kommen:
Ich hatte mir da auch mehr erwartet, mit nem Autoscooter und nem Troika lockt man höchstens Besucher aus der näheren Umgebung an. Was bei so Parks ja sicherlich das Hauptziel ist...

Guests will be mesmerized as they witness the breathtaking stunts and aerial performances of Cirque Imagine – which is included in the price of admission to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom! This thrilling 30-minute live show, perfect for families and guests of all ages, features acts including Trampolines, Cyr wheel, Aerialists, Hand Balancing and Bikes.
