2026 Neuheit: Fantawild Ziyang (neues Resort, u.a mit Boonie Bear Wasserpark ) @ Ziyang - China

Für die chinesische Stadt Ziyang wurde ein Boonie Bears Resort (bestehend aus Hotel + Wasserpark) angekündigt.

On November 15th, a ceremony was held in Ziyang to mark the beginning of the construction of a new Fantawild tourism and entertainment project. Yuan Fang, municipal party committee secretary of Ziyang; Wang Shanping, Mayor and vice secretary of municipal party committee of Ziyang; and Liu Daoqiang, President of Fantawild Holdings Inc. were all present at the ceremony in the province of Sichuan.

The new project, which has been jointly invested in and developed by Fantawild and the local government of Ziyang, is intended to be a comprehensive tourist resort. Located in Linkong economic zone, it will include a heritage park to present the charm of past and present Chinese culture, a Boonie Bears themed water sports base, and a Boonie Bears themed hotel.

Relying on Fantawild’s strong creative, design and operational strengths, the resort will be developed using cutting-edge technology such as AR, VR, spherical screens, and huge screens. Fantawild’s animation IPs will be combined with Chinese, Ziyang and Sichuan cultures through education, immersive entertainment, interactive parades, water attractions, hotels and restaurants. Upon completion, the resort is expected to accommodate 5 million visitors per year and create over 1000 jobs.

During the ceremony, Liu stated that preparations for the resort were going smoothly with full support from governing bodies of Sichuan, Ziyang and Linkong economic zone. Fantawild will develop the resort in accordance with international standards, following scientific management, and safe construction practices. The company endeavors to open the resort as soon as possible, adding a new highlight to the entertainment and tourism industry of Ziyang and contributing to the development of Sichuan.

Moving forward, Fantawild will continue to adhere to its enterprise mission of making the world a happier place. This new project is an important stage on which to showcase Chinese culture, while also giving a helpful boost to the relevant industries of Ziyang city and Sichuan province.

Der Park/das Resort entsteht übrigens nur knapp 100 Kilometer entfernt vom Fantawild Dino Kingdom in Zigong. Neben dem Boonie Bear Wasserpark wird wohl auch ein großer Freizeitpark gebaut, ob der Park in direkter Nähe entsteht, weiß ich allerdings nicht und konnte es auch nicht herausfinden... gehe aber erstmal davon aus.

Auf den nun aufgetauchten Baubildern, ist ein großer Inverter von Jinma Rides zu sehen, der den von B&M bekannten Boxtrack verwendet, dieser kam auch schon bei Flying & Launch Coastern von Jinma zum Einsatz.

Der Inverter erhält einen langgezogenen finnischen Looping, wie er erstmals von Gerstlauer bei Junker gebaut wurde

Es scheint sich um dieses gespiegelte Layout zu handeln (das Bild gehört wohl zu einem anderen Projekt, hier liegt die Bahn auch nicht am Wasser).

Das erste Tal nach dem First Drop wird nicht in liegender sondern fliegender Position durchfahren
Da hoffe ich mal, dass die Rippen der Passagiere das vertragen...

Reden wir denn von einem Inverted oder einem Flying Coaster. Für mich sieht es nach einem "normalen" Inverter aus.

Hä? @Mario M. - ich sehe eine Art "Dive-Drop" oder Over-Hang-Drop, aber nicht das das erste Tal liegend kommt. -- Was siehst du, was ich nicht sehe... ich finde das ein sehr spannendes und modernes Inverter-Layout, mit dem Finnish-Loop und dem Anfang, der vor dem 1. Drop die Gäste auf den Kopf stellt und dann mit 90° nach unten rauscht. ich stelle mir das spannend und neu vor... die letzte Reihe wird es nur schon gut durch die Luft reißen... mal gucken wie lang der Zug ist.
