Wer ist denn E&S-Rides? Aus deren Homepage https://es-rides.com/ werde ich nicht wirklich schlau. Weiß jemand wer dahinter steht? Neubau von Attraktionen scheint bisher nicht deren Spezialität zu sein.

Da ich das auch schon mal nachvollziehen wollte, habe ich mal meine Frage sowie die dazugehörige Antwort von @Jokie zitiert

Weiß jemand wo die Firma ihren Ursprung hat? Also welche Persönlichkeiten aus der Branche da dahinter stehen?

Ich habe mal ein bisschen auf LinkedIn rumgeschaut. Dort sind für E&S Rides aktuell drei Personen zugeordnet. Alle drei haben in der Vergangenheit bei Reverchon gearbeitet, zudem diverse Referenzen als Freelancer bei anderen Herstellern und auch Parks.

Passt wahrscheinlich am besten hier rein, umfasst aber gleich mehrere Newsbereiche in einem, falls es einen einen besseren Thread gibt, gerne verschieben. Aber nun zur eigentlichen News:

Ruud Koppens, der Gründer von ETF Ride Systems, hat seinen Rücktritt zum 1. Juli angekündigt. Er zog im Alter von 67 Jahren in den Ruhestand. Eine Entscheidung, bei guter Gesundheit zurückzutreten, in der Hoffnung, mehr Zeit mit seiner Frau, seinen drei Kindern und fünf Enkelkindern zu verbringen. Im Laufe der Jahre ist ETF Ride Systems unter seiner Führung gediehen und zu einem prominenten Namen in der Branche geworden.

Getreu seinem Innovationsgeist verlässt Ruud das Unternehmen und den Markt mit einem neuen Produkt. In den vergangenen Monaten leitete er die Entwicklung eines neuen spurlosen High-End-Fahrzeugs. Das neue Fahrzeug mit dem Namen "Dynamic Mover" verfügt über die Möglichkeit zu höheren Geschwindigkeiten, größeren Beschleunigung und Verzögerungen, omnidirektionalen Fahrfunktionen, verbesserte Rotationen und die Fähigkeit Steigungen zu erklimmen. Bemerkenswert ist weiterhin, dass es nicht mehr auf den bisher erforderlichen Bodendraht angewiesen ist. Der „Dynamic Mover“ wird auf der IAAPA in Amsterdam live vorgestellt, gefolgt von der IAAPA Orlando.

Der Attraktionsbauhersteller ETF Ride Systems wurde des Weiteren von einem bekannten Namen in der Branche erworben. Vergangene Woche wurde klar, dass der Hersteller nach der Pension des Eigentümers Ruud Koppens an eine andere Partei verkauft wurde. Auszüge der Handelskammer zeigen, dass ETF vom renommierten Attraktionshersteller Intamin Amusement Rides aus Liechtenstein eingezogen wird.

Maurer hat für das neue Spike Omega Konzept (mit den kippbaren Sitzen) ein Werbevideo produziert, in dem man sehen kann, an welchen Stellen des Fahrablaufes man so ein Kippen der Sitze integrieren könnte.

Maurer setzt weiterhin alle Pferde auf den Spike Coaster und bietet nun zwei weitere Upgrademöglichkeiten für den Bahntyp an (Wasserpistolen & einen Gamemode):

Maurer legt nun sogar nochmal nach und stellt einen weiteren Subtypen des Spike Coasters vor: Spike ASM Launch. ASM steht dabei für "Adaptive Spike Motor".

Neben dem Slogan "Set records, overcome limits" wird insbesondere mit der Leistungsstärke und Energieeffizienz geworben. Dabei behauptet Maurer beispielweise "deutlich niedrigere elektrische Anschlusswerte" als LSM zu benötigen. Weiterhin werden lange 20 Personen Spike-Züge und theoretischen Kapazitäten bis zu 800pph beworben.

Adaptive Spike Motor Launch​

The ASM sets new standards for launch coasters and other roller coasters with just a few, but absolutely high-tech components. Extremely powerful and highly efficient direct drives transmit their enormous torque directly and almost loss-free to the two redundant racks of the track. Multiple teeth engage simultaneously. They can be shifted against each other, so that the gear automatically adapts to inaccuracies.
The innovative vertical track enables an extraordinarily lightweight design of the train, for example by reducing it to just one boogie per rickshaw, so that the high drive power can be used directly for brute acceleration.
As a result, the ASM Launch is a multifunctional roller coaster system that offers a number of advantages over conventional launch drives, while being significantly more cost-effective to manufacture and operate.

  Perfectly suited for what other roller coasters cannot do or can only do with great effort, e.g. longer show sections and storytelling sections, flat track layout through existing buildings or a grand, energetic finale right before the station.

  Different ride profiles, e.g. for thrill-seekers and children, easy adaptability to new requirements and even expandability of the entire ride for long-term security of the investment.

State-of-the-art Seats​

As with all Spike systems, particular emphasis was placed on outstanding design when developing the ASM Launch trains. An important component of the trains are their highly functional seats:

• Comfortable seat shells for small children (minimum dimensions depending on the track layout) up to 2.00 m tall people
• Large footwell for comfortable and spacious seating
• The generously dimensioned overhead bars are available with or without a seat vest, so that even special layouts with heavy braking manoeuvres can be mastered comfortably.
• Full-suspension boogies ensure vibration-free riding.
• Additional safety enhancement thanks to permanent monitoring of the safety functions, even while riding.
• Easy integration of multimedia such as sound, display and buttons etc. in the seat without additional batteries on board
• High-quality and spectacular lighting effects thanks to built-in LED strips

Highest Efficiency​

The Spike ASM Launch System is designed for maximum efficiency, both through maximum electrical performance and extraordinary lightweight construction:

• Energy efficiency​

  Highest efficiencies with very low losses lead to significantly lower electrical connection values than e.g. LSM coasters, whose efficiency is inevitably reduced to a maximum of 70% due to the air gap between the stators.

• Recuperation​

  Thanks to the system's recovery of braking energy and the absence of eddy current brakes with the usual heat conversion, the energy consumption is unusually low.

• Lightweight construction​

  The trains, which are very lightweight, particularly due to the vertical track, enable a lean supporting structure with correspondingly few and small foundations.

• Shorter trains​

  The vehicle's distance control replaces block sections and enables short dispatch intervals without affecting the ride with block brakes. The same transport capacity can be achieved with smaller trains, which reduces the load on the supporting structure and leads to additional savings.

• Ease of maintenance​

  The Spike system is designed for a long service life and low life cycle costs. Regular maintenance is simplified as no installations such as brakes and drives are required on the track and only the trains in the maintenance area need to be checked mechanically and electrically.

• Low connected load​

  The intelligent control no higher than that of small family coasters. and energy management system results in a very low electrical connection value of the system, which is no higher than that of small family coasters.

Der Spike scheint wohl wirklich Maurers "Hill to die on" zu sein. Diese neue Variante kümmert sich wie schon die vorigen Alternativen zwar weiter um das meiner Meinung nach größte Problem der geringen Kapazität (die den Spike für größere Parks mit den entsprechenden finanziellen Mitteln bisher einfach unrelevant macht), aber ob diese Variante wirklich so effizient und attraktiv ist wie sie behaupten, bleibt abzuwarten.

Ich glaube nicht, dass du beim abgebildeten 8 Personen Zug eine Steuerungsmöglichkeit bekommst.

Wahrschein leider nicht, aber evtl werden die auch mit den 1er Zügen betreibbar sein. Das wäre dann sehr spaßig, weiß nur nicht ob die Rückhaltesysteme dafür ausgelegt sind
